Our everyday standing up bitter. Tastier than your average session, plenty of up front malt and toffee married with Challenger, Fuggle, and Cascade hops...snice!

(Cask at Euston Tap West, London, 25 May 2022) Dark amber colour with creamy, tan head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of nuts, caramel, citrus, grapefruit and earthy hops. Malty, hoppy taste with nuts, caramel, apricots, pine needles, pink grapefruit and a balanced citric/piney bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and well made bitter, with a good hop profile. Nice one.

Handpull cask at West End Brewery. Pumpclip gives the ABV as 4.5%. The darker side of copper, clear with a film of beige head. Light aroma of caramel, toffee and toasted bread. Sweet initial taste with a gorgeous bitterness following to the finish. More caramel with light dusting of forest fruit in the aftertaste. A very good copper bitter.

Typical bitter. Nice blackcurrants but it bores me.

Tried at the James street brewery bath. Deep Amber brown colour with a lacy off white head. Nice malt and fruit aroma, but the taste was dominated by a very bitter aftertaste.

On gravity at the Volunteer, Bristol 25/05/2013. Copper coloured with a slight white head. Good all round session bitter, with biscuity malts, a hint of caramel, hedgerow fruits, some leafy hops with a touch of orange, which culminated in a decent, bitter finish. A good brew by a new entrant.
