Draught, 8% at Arendsnest. Vinous aroma, sweetish. Black colour, seems hazy. Small light brown head. The flavour is very sweet, but balanced by a warming. Sweet raisin notes. Complex and good.

33cl bottle. A black beer with a beige head. Aroma of strong sweet dark malt, liquorice, coffee. Taste of strong dark malt, coffee beans, cocoa, vanilla, chocolate.

Vollmundig malziger, eher trocken getreidiger Beginn. Süffig, feinherb, schokoladig, weniger intensiv als gedacht. Rund malzig bleibend, wenig nussig, mittellanger Abgang. 11/10/11/10/9/11

Bottle. Black pour. Aroma of mocha coffee, caramel, licorice, chocolate, roasted malt and molasses. Taste has creamy mocha coffee, licorice, chocolate, caramel, smooth roasted malt and a little hopjesvla. Tastes very british with this hopjesvla flavor. Really like this.

33 cl. bottle shared with Suus @ Alex and Suus. Black with an off-white head. Nice roasted malts aroma with some hops. Sweet taste with a bitter finish. Nice full imperial stout without being overly boozy.

Black with a tan head. Aroma of veggie coffee, chocolate, caramel and roast. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle. Almost black. White pepper, licorice, grassy hops and roast in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor, well hopped, grassy earthy hops, roast, licorice. Tasty, surprisingly good.

Tap at Kaapse brouwers. Very dark brown with creamy beige head. Lots of nuts, coffee, sweet brown sugar, earthy, blackberries, soft dusty, creamy grains. Over medium sweet, medium bitter. Full creamy body. Nice!
