From bottle at Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is citrus and yeast, funky and earthy, sour and a bit weird. Body is medium. Manure, funk and intrigue.

375ml bottle. Minimally milky, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with average, firm, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, snow-white head. Minimally vinous, fruity and yeasty spicy aroma, citrusy overtones, hints of white grapes, gooseberry, old lemon peel, Chardonnay, weak oaky overtones, pale malty basis with a minimally sweet touch of grape sugar, herbal-spicy yeasty hints with a touch of mustard seed as well. Taste is minimally sweet, pale malty with a sugary touch of grape sugar, dry, slightly tart, vinous, fruity, notes of white grapes, gooseberry, a touch of rhubarb, old lemon peel, herbal-grassy hoppy counterpart, weak, woody, oaky overtones. Slightly oily texture, soft, minimally sticky palate, gentle, prickly carbonation. Quite complex, well balanced, flattering residual sweetness - good.

375ml bottle. Pours clear golden with a minimal white head. Aromas of lemon, acidity, white grapes, stone fruit. Taste comprises sour lemons, peach, apricot, hay, lots of oaky Chardonnay barrel. Light bodied with light carb. Dryish, moderate tart finish. Very complex, really enjoyed this

Bottle. Gold, a white head does not survive the pour. 3- Aroma has lemon and laundry funk over vanilla and almond biscotti, apricots and their stones, grapes, grass, lime. Plenty of body, lowish carbonation. Sweet hay and dough, grapes and biscuity vanilla, sourish underripe (peach) and astringent (pineapple) fruit, oak and a finishing ping of citrus. A lot going on, so much that maybe it lacks the elegance of some of their beers. Just a little drier would have sung for me. Still, a very good beer.
