This is a very very good classical brown ale. Super clean and low bitterness. The beer is completely brown malt derived. Neutral yeast. Clear and very well fermented. Troost Amsterdam

On tap at Troost - Westergas, pours a dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted malt, burnt caramel and bready malt. Flavour is very malty, with lots of burnt caramel, bready malt and a little toffee. Rather harsh and lacking cohesion, but it's alright.

Draft at Het Rootz Lentebierfestival ‘19. Dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of rich malt, chocolate, toffee and caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at Rootz lentefestival. Clear reddish brown with creamy dark beige head. Sweet milk chocolate, roasted malts, toffee, roasted nuts, caramel, earthy and light mineral. Medium sweet, over medium bitter. Bit over medium bodied with oily feel.

On tap at Troost. Brown colour, beige head. Aroma of dried dark fruits, caramel, hint of toast, hint of tobacco. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, dark fruits, some toffee, hint of tobacco, bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. Between a Dubbel and Brown Ale.
