Yesterday. Cheers to 2500 Mett B. - a nose of deep funk and barrel. Starts acidic biting sour. Calms over time. Wild fruit. Wooden barrel notes. Maybe a little over its prime concerning the fruit aromas. Funky yeasty. Good.

Bottled @ Sori Taproom. Poured clear golden in color, thin white head. Citrusy aroma, with some stonefruit, tartness and gooseberry notes. Flavor had sourness, citricness and light funkyness. Interesting.

Bottle from explosivedog, thanks: pours clear but with sediment at the end. Aroma is loads of funk, fruity, fejoia (haven't had it in a while so just guessing). Taste is pretty sour. Light fruity sweetness. Somewhat acidic. Good.

Bottle at home. Has an unclear straw colour with an off-white head. Aroma of sweat socks, hay, grass, cucumber, vinegums, goose berrie, horse and vinegar. Sour flavour of pineapple, gooseberries, litchi, apple cider vinegar, and some horse. Has a slick and sparkly mouth feel, lemon, medium body and light bitterness. Interesting ale with nice fruitiness that is new to me. I can't get the foot-sweat out of the aroma though.

From 500ml bottle, 8 Wired library tasting. Pours bright gold. Feijoa, kiwi, soap, lemon, touch of vinegar, touch of barnyard. Quite flat. Less funky and less sour than more recent vintages.

On tap at Avenue Pub. Pours a cloudy yellow white head that lasts. The aroma is must, funk, popped ballon. Medium body, funky, grape, oak, earth, dry finish, very good.

Bottle from Boxbeers. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, citrus, white wine, wood and light tart. Flavor is quite sweet and light acidic. Dry and light acidic finish. Very high carbonation. 240718
