500ml bottle. Pours clear dark brown with a thin beige head. Aroma is butterscotch, chocolate, light roastiness. Taste is syrupy sweetness, caramel, malt. Nothing special, but it made a welcome change after so many pale lagers.

Bottle at 3.8% ABV. Clear deep brown. Small beige head. Bad retention. Aroma: toasted malts, treacle, minor roast and coffee, dried fruit. Light body. Taste: not really sweet, richly malty, coffee. Light bitterness. Decent for that ABV.

Bottle, small stable bubbley head, very dark brown to black colour, aroma of dark bread, some barnyard notes and hints of coffee and something charred, flavour of sourdough dark bread and burned sugar, with a strong, mellow and slightly charred bitterness, light sweetness creeping as the beer warms up a bit.. Nice pleasant dunkel.

Aroma: raisin. Very poor head, black colour. Taste: middle sweetness, no bitterness. Flavour is nearly exclusively of caramel. Oily feel, a bit watery for me. Does not taste like a bear, not very drinkable due to sweetness. Bottle, with name ’Zubr Schwarz’.

Bottle. 3.8%. Dark brown color with a beige head. Malty aroma, a bit sugary, with caramel, dark bread, a hint of chocolate and a bit of roastiness. Sweetish flavor with malt, caramel, some roastiness and toastiness, some bread, nutty notes and a slightly drier finish. Light to medium-bodied. Not a great Tmavý but really quite alright.
