Smell- weak honey, herbal. berry, blackberry, alcohol. Foam- thin, sweet, honey, weak sourness, weak bitter tones. Head is Appearance- re-sealable bottle, cool label. Clear ruby in color. From - snifter Taste - sweet, alcohol, blackberry, honey, alcohol. Strong, fruity, berryish and honey-ish. I honestly liked their other mead more, too much blackberry for my taste, also a bit sourish. Gives loads of warmth. Overall, not bad.

A 50ml pour from 750ml shared with Ryan. Appearance: purple. Aroma: honey, sweet, concentrated blackberries. Taste: same, but less rich in flavour than White-series. Overall: pretty good, but it's far from the top.

Re-rate: poured from 750mL bottle. Deep purple with no head. Lots of blackberry, same rating as before. Nov 03, 2022 (8/4/8/3/16=3.9): Poured from 750mL bottle (batch 3; bottle 44/4950; 13% ABV) @ Brian’s. Deep purple with almost no pink head. Pithy blackberry and mild honey, slightly vinous quality to it without actually being vinous.

Sample from SinH4, many thanks Stefan! Deep purple pour. Floral honey, some sweetness upfront before the quite tart blackberries take over the show. Highly concentrated blackerries leading into a dry and tart berry finish. Top shelf stuff!

Pours a very dark purple, nearly black. Scent is strong berry profile, rich in all it's aspects. Mild honey profile, providing a somewhat sweet impression.Taste is Strong, intense, explosion of fruit. tanins, creating a big dryness at the end. Straight fruitjuice, underlined by a nice solid honeybase. A great alternative to a red wine, but also highly enjoyable for fans of mead or fruits. very well done.

Bottle, thanks Stefan! Deep purple. Deep flowery honey aroma, sweet but not cloying, blackberry tartness and aromatics layer on top. Medium body, tart on the palate, berry skin on the tongue, deep concentrated berry flavor, umami quality to it, tart notes very well balanced to the sweet side, perfume retronasal. wow.
