750ml (thx, Robert B.!) shared at Josh's and Sunshine's rooftop. Appearance: dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: maple, sweet, some coffee, marshmallow. Taste: along the same lines, very sweet, diabetes bomb. Overall: petty good.

Sweet maple, cabbage and barrel notes. Deep jet brown with a decent with a beige head. Sweet and sticky sticky a bit vegetal. Too much.

Medium brown, mega sticky sweet stuff on the nose - maple and brown sugar and maybe some nuts, cinnamon. There's a lot of sweetness, maple, a bit of nuts, a touch of cinnamon. This is hilariously over the top.

750mL bottle, pours a filthy deep dark brown / black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out tons of maple syrup upfront, with little else discernible. Flavour is pretty much nothing but intense maple syrup, with intense brown sugar and molasses. The syrup is pretty overwhelming, with a cloyingly sweet, vegetal character that ruins this a bit. Love the maple syrup, but not the vegetal character. Fun beer, but it lacks complexity.

Bottle 750 ml at Arrogant tasting, courtesy of Italian friends. Pours black with beige head. Nutty, chocolate, vanilla, caramel, some coffee, super smooth. Medium to heavy sweetness. Low carbonation.

0,75l bottle. Black color, small coffee coloured head. Smells heavy of cinnamon, christmas spices, bitter chocolate, earthy, nutty, marzipan. Lovely smell. Full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel.Tastes of cinnamon, christmas spices, specoloos, light bitter chocolate, some sweetness, earthy, peppery. Finishes lightly sweet with notes of cinnamon, Christmas spices and earthy notes. I did not like this at first, but it got so much better once it warmed up a bit.. 9, 4, 9, 4, 17
