This little peanut gave PB&J a fresh new look! No Crusts is a bready brown ale that sandwiches the aroma of creamy peanut butter with a fruity finish reminiscent of mixed berry jam. One taste will envelop you in waves of nostalgic flavor - just don’t forget to cut the crust!

Brown with a foamy head that soon turns whispy. Big medicinal aroma, a cherry/raspberry blend cough syrup. Herbal too though. With a bit of time out of the bottle it really does start to smell like a PB&J. The intense peanuty note is probably the highlight of this brew. Taste is bittersweet, full of earthy peanut shell and sweet artificial cough drop. Body is medium, carbonation moderate, texture watery. Probably the most disappointing tough 50 brew I‘ve tried, at least for such a major style.

4oz pour at Dominion is a clear amber with some off white head. Nose has malt, pumpernickel, there's a peanut character but its almost extract, there's a candy character too. Weird. Flavor has more peanut butter and more jelly, grainy and bready. Finishes off dry. Just kitschy. 6 2 6 2 10.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a glass. Black with light brown highlights with beige head. Aroma is peanuts, medium body, lower carbonation, and pretty good small-bubble lacing. Taste is peanut butter, bread, and grape jelly.

Taster at the Grand Boulevard Craft Bar. Pours a dark brown, with a medium, bubbly, tan head. The aroma is brown bread, roasted nuts, some tart cherries, and coffee. Sweet and malty, with a mild bitterness. Medium body, with a syrupy, lightly acidic mouthfeel. This is an Interesting and tasty beer.

Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 4/27/2018. Pours lightly hazy deep ruby red/brown color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky light khaki head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of huge juicy/lightly tart/tangy raspberries, strawberry, fruit jam, peanut butter, brown sugar, brown bread crust, and toasted biscuit; with lighter notes of caramel, cocoa, herbal, floral, grass, and toasted earthiness. Fantastic aromas with awesome balance and complexity of berries, peanut butter, dark/bready/light roasted malt, and light earthy hop notes; with big strength. Taste of big juicy/lightly tart/tangy raspberries, strawberry, fruit jam, peanut butter, brown sugar, brown bread crust, and toasted biscuit; with lighter notes of caramel, cocoa, herbal, floral, grass, and toasted earthiness. Light-moderate pine, herbal, grassy, spicy hop; roast bitterness; and slight berry tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy raspberries, strawberry, fruit jam, peanut butter, brown sugar, brown bread crust, herbal, floral, grass, and toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of berries, peanut butter, dark/bready/light roasted malt, and light earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and no astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and lightly chalky balanced mouthfeel that is nice. minimal warming alcohol for 6.4%. Overall this is an awesome fruited American brown ale! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of berries, peanut butter, dark/bready/light roasted malt, and light earthy hop flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish. Would have preferred it to be less bitter/drying. Aromas were far more promising, but this was still spot on stuff. Awesome balance of jammy berries, peanut butter, and malt complexity; with solid earthy hop balance. Very authentic feeling flavors. Nails the flavor profile of a sandwich. A highly enjoyable offering, and well made experimental brown ale as expected. Spot on base style example.

On tap at Kickbacks, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma and flavour are both exactly like jam and peanut butter, with a toasted malt base. Nice incorporation of the adjuncts. I like it.
