As with all Gueuzes, Hanssens is a mixture of several vintages to produce a lambic which is refreshingly fruity. This is the result of blending different lambics of different ages. The second fermentation takes place inside the bottles and therefore they are stored for minimum six months in constant temperature kept cellars.

0,375l bottle at home. Bottled 2016. dark yellow almost clear color, rather big white head. smells grassy, earthy, nutty, hay, herbal, thyme. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation. tastes citric, grassy, earthy, subtle funk, peppery, some oak, herbal, thyme, lime, light coriander. finishes lightly dry and lightly sour with notes of grass, lime and peppery notes. nice stuff, rather bright taste, not overly funky, very nice balance.

Nieco owocowy (cytrynowo!), nieco dziki, nieco octowy (ale stosunkowo bezbolesnie, acz i tak szkoda), wytrawny. Dosc spora kwasnosc. W sumie to ryli fajny, acz ustepuje tym zajebistym ewidentnie

Great crisp champagne like mouth feel with hints of sour and funk on nose and front.
