375ml bottle pours out deep red nose is big wine grape notes and a nice honey touch. Taste is more of the big grape forward and then light sweetness.

Bottle thanks to Brian. Pours a dark purple with no head. The aroma is strong red wine, wood, honey, earth. Slick body, honey, grape, vinous, boozy, dry finish, very good.

On tap at Garagiste, pours a deep dark mahogany. Aroma is super rich and elegant, with lots of red wine complexity, and subdued honey. Flavour is decadent, with lots of red wine, intense honey nectar and alcohol. Treacly and wonderfully deep. Smells like a red wine and drinks like a port. Excellent.

A dark burgundy red mead with aroma of sweet honey, light berries, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity mix of berries, honey, alcohol warmth, clover, very nice. On tap at meadery.

First time in a meadery, beware the drop bears! Delishious (extra I for imphasis). Shiraz juice.
