Main role in our strong Czech Amber Lager belongs to malt flavour full of tones of caramel and toasted bread, it`s complimented by well-balanced bitterness and grassy/peppery character of Czech Saaz hops. The experience finishes with soft fizz and lightly bitter finish.

750ml bottle. Opalescent, redd-ish, amber colour with average, fluffy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, sulphureous head. Sweet-ish, caramel malty and minimally fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of caramel, hints of cherry, cherry drops. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty and mildly bitter, slightly fruity and minimally herbal-grassy hoppy, notes of caramel, some cherry, an underlying touch of dark and burnt caramel with some corresponding bitterness. Slightly oily, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Nice composition, harmonious, mellow - good.

750 ml bottle. Cloudy chestnut brown with a fluffy head. Diacetyl, yeast, roasted nuts, baked banana, citrus, caramel, grassy hops, dried fruits such as raisins, figs, Weizenbock. Dry grassy bitterness, malty fruit boozy sweetness. Medium to full bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry hoppy bitter malty finish. Good Polotmavy, but don’t like the alcohol content of 5.9 in here, further rather sweet and heavy on diacetyl but balanced by the usage of a good amount of Saaz hops.

Wirklich empfehlenswertes Bierchen.

Reddish amber colour, hazy, frothy head that does not stay long. Aroma is buckwheat honey, peach, biscuit, citrus. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, a bit cloying. Tastes more like a Belgian ale than an amber lager. Too sweet to me. Decent.
