Absolutely delicious pale ale with Citra and Simcoe. Really lovely balance of biscuity malts and citrussy hops. Dust My Broom is the older brother of Gareth Brews Pale Ale and sibling of Saturated in Simcoe… if that makes any sense.

Can, picked up at the brewery. Pale, lemon gold. Fully opaque. Thin and leggy, lasting, lacing, bright white head. Looks the business. Nose has Jif lemon juice. Orange flesh. Mango. Some weedy dankness pushes through. Clean malt backdrop, with just a hint of milky oats. Taste has a touch of sweet lemon, with a dank, herbaceous bitterness. Not short on body, with foamy, firm carbonation. Loses the sweetness as it goes along, turning more dank, and pithy bitter. Great stuff.

Can picked up from Deya, Cheltenham, from the cold room, saw Chris and his mum whilst nipping in. We consumed at Cheltenham Racecourse Campsite looking out across the course and to Cleeve Hill, it was still lovely and cold drank it well within the hour, Friday 20th July 2018 Pours hazy gold, mmhh.... maybe lemony gold with a white head, fruity but with a lovely sweetness. Plenty of tropical flavours here a touch of mango, a little sweet Galia melon, juicy, hops are great. Amongst all of their beers this could maybe be their best, I asked Loz what she would score this having already got a figure in my head, I thought 4.2, Loz said 4.2 or 4.3, she always accuses me of being tight so let's go 4.3 it really is that good. It's 5.8% but so drinkable, fantastic beer.A8 A4 T9 P5 Ov17 4.3

Keg at Deya Taproom. Murky golden with a small white head. Aroma is super tropical, papaya, mango. Taste is the same, juicy, tropical, papaya, mango, soft and fruity, light pithy bitter finish. Medium bodied, smooth, soft carbonation. Excellent.

Keg at HL1, 13/07/18. Hazed light golden blonde with a decent off white cap. Nose is pine resin, pithy citric flesh, weed, skunky exhaust. Taste comprises orange pith, pine needle, cantaloupe melon, toasted grains, papaya, ripe tropicana, skunky hop bite, grassy. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close doused with balanced danko hop bitterness. Solid hop shizzle ... another win from Deya!
