75 cl bottle "Noyau 2023"
"Mixed fermented barrel aged golden sour ale, with organic apricot pits."
golden brown with a white head.
Initial aroma was awesomely sour with lots of funk and fruity notes, after a while though arome got sweeter and more plain sour ale'ish. it's like the apricot wins the sour/sweet battle after a while.
Flavor is wood, funk, sour ale, citrus fruity sour notes, whatever apricot flavors there are, blend perfectly into the sour ale, very flavorful belgian style sour. really good stuff, quite balanced even though very funky. also very well blended and smooth. alc totally hidden which is impressive with 7.5 in a sour.

Tap at Fakin. Hazy golden-orange body, white head. Lean, sweetish aroma, almonds! Or at least something similar to them. Wasn't shocked to see apricot pits as an ingredient. Sour, lean taste, marzipan and some apricots, not particularly wow, but it's quite a nice sour!

Bottle pour at De Koffer. Hazy amberish. Little ring of bubbles. Sour grainy with powdery vanilla softness and a nutty aroma. Slightly overpowering sourness but lots of interesting notes, floral, fruity, nutty. Rozenbottel, almond schafings. Moderate sweet and bitter and light sour. Medium body and soft carbonation. --- Beer merged from original tick of Noyau on 22 Nov 2019 at 22:46 - Score: 8. Original review text: Sour grainy with powdery vanilla softness and a nutty aroma. Sampled from bottle at De Koffer. Hazy orange-ish golden with off white head. Almonds, apricot pits i guess, sour grains, vanilla, soft red wine, light spices, lemon sour with a light lactic touch of yoghurt. Over medium sour, light sweet and bitter. Medium bodied. Nice.

On tap at Fakin Zagreb. Unclear golden coloured, small white head, sourish apricot nose. Sourish taste, apricot, notes of wood and light yeast with with rather sour finish. Dry finish with moderate to strong carbonation.

On tap at Fakin Craft Bar, Zagreb. Shared with little Dina. Hazy golden, small off-white head. Sharp acidic sting, light blue cheese, soft vinegar, some lemon. Stone fruit, like apricot or peach. Funky background. Taste is quite funky, wood nicely present, sawdust, nice fruity yeasty character, light body and drinkability from the base style, pits giving some green tartness. Quite complex. Sour, puckering, good balance, not too sharp.
