22oz @ Matt's new place. Appearance: very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: oxidized, brown sugars, some burnt barrel. Taste: lots of American oak, moderately sweet, a bit of booze, supple (new word in use!), some cherries. Overall: good one.

Almost black. Not much head. The aroma has a lot of bourbon and chocolate, a bit boozy and a nice barrel character. Medium body for style, but it's quite supple. Fairly nutty, kind of a burnt cherry, again decent chocolate. Rounded bourbon character. Balanced, complex, and that little bit of fruit is a nice touch.

22 oz. bottle, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of chocolate-covered cherries, some light oxidation, a touch of vanillin, molasses, and a touch of bourbon. Flavour is better -- no oxidation present -- with rich bourbon, subtle tart cherries, and a touch of cocoa. The bourbon has diminished a bit, but so have the cherries. It's not a top-tier BBA stout blend, but it's very nice.

--Bottled, rating #35000, thanks Bearbeer! -- Black, dark brown head. Bourbony caramel aroma with maple syrup and chocolate. Very sweet with full body and rounded, viscous mouthfeel. Maple syrup, bourbony oak, caramel and chocolate. Warming mid bitter finish.

Draught, taster. @MBCC 2022, Copenhagen (Denmark). 14/05/2022 [#5.072 Global - #758 United States of America - #9 Fremont Brewing Company] Pours black with a beige head. Aroma: oak barrels, spiced malts and coconut. Taste: cocoa beans and coconut leading to a mild booze bourbon finish. Next one please!

Tap. Black color with beige head. Aroma is mild roast, good bourbon barrel, chocolate, a bit vanilla maybe, well-balanced. Taste is chocolate, cocoa, mild roast, sweet but not too sweet, good earthiness too. Velvety mouthfeel with fine-bubbled carbonation. Great stuff!
