Draft 10 oz pour enjoyed at Josh's Taps and Caps. So happy to find this on tap, and honestly, a beer I thought I completely missed out on. Dense midnight black pour. Thin tan foam ring head. I don't know how these guys seem to have come across a lifetime supply of Heaven Hills barrels, but I'll happily continue to enjoy the results. Multi layered brew here. It has everything advertised with nothing overpowering. Aroma brings out a tart cherry headliner, with a soft whiskey and vanilla. Aroma suggests a sweet bomb, but flavor refuses. Bold flavor with tons of vanilla and oak as it warms. Soft caramel, and cocoa background. Cherry present, but just barely enough to know for certain it's there. Thick, coating mouthfeel. Slightly dry wood, smooth whiskey finish. A very easy drinking imperial stout. Really special blend here. Very memorable brew worthy of anniversary celebration.

Bomber from Beer Merchants, shared at Rich's. It pours black with a dark tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, bitter - sweet, sticky, chocolate cake, rocky road, vanilla, toasted coconut, nutty, nougat, bourbon, minty vibes and dark chocolate. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, sticky, charred wood, earth, rich road, thick, chocolate cake, vanilla, toasted coconut, bourbon biscuits, earthy, touch of booze, fudgey, toffee, coffee, maltesers and a nip of spice with a toasty finish. Medium - Fulsome body and fine to moderate carbonation. Lacks a bit of body. Decent anyhow.
