I'm always happy when I stumble upon one of my favourite and very rare niche styles, the elusive coffee IPA! This one pours a lovely amber to copper with a small head. Aroma is herbal and grassy hops combined with light to medium roast coffee, fruity and a little roasty overall. Medium body. Flavour is malty, light sweetness, some caramel. Light to medium bitterness. Lovely medium roast coffee flavour, some berry notes and chocolate, light roast, pine and herbal hops. Finish is dry and bitter, pine. A really nice coffee IPA.
