0,75 l bottle from Dehlwisch, Lohne. Cloudy mahagony in the glass, more than one finger pale beige foamy head. Looks good. Malty aroma with herbal elements. Taste starts also malty, cough drops, herbal, bitter hop. Low carbonated. Interesting stuff.

Brown colour with dense head. Aroma and flavour are predominantly malty and sweet with lots of caramel. Nice depth and complexity. A little smoke would be welcome for balance.

RBESG Grand Tasting 19. Okay... this is weird. I don't remember there being two Adams... but I have two Adam ratings... and Cuso's rated two different ones. And I doubt that SinH4 would rate the Eichenbock here. Hm. So here goes. Shiny brown body, off white head. Malty aroma, heavy, berries, didn't thrill me. Dry malty aroma, berries, raisins, sharp CO2, somewhat more interesting. Glad to have tried an Adambier in any case!

On tap at ’Bergmann Kiosk’. Clear, dark reddish amber with a thin, creamy, slowly diminishing, tan to brown head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of coffee, dark chocolate, licorice and hints of molasses. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty taste of dark chocolate, some coffee, cinnamon, molasses and licorice, followed by a medium long, roasty-bitter, chocolaty finish. Medium to full body, creamy to sticky mouthfeel, flat. Very nice!
