50cl bottle from the brewery Thin off white head. Clear amber pour. Odd aftertaste. Ok but not something I would buy again.

10th Dec 2018; hand-pulled half-pint at The Crown Inn, Oakengates, Shropshire. Golden pour, white head. Landlord agreed with me that there was no 'Figgy' and no 'Pudding', but it was a pleasant beer with a semi-sweet flavour. Obviously changed the recipe over the years because the other reviews do not match what I got.

Bottle at home, 02/12/18. Clear golden amber with a decent off white covering. Nose is fruit cake, caramel, brown sugar, dates. Taste comprises stewed fruits, toffee, light spice, fruit loaf, raisins, biscuit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a bitter edge. Decent flavoursome bitter.
