2020 bottle. A purple beer with a pink head that fizzes away immediately. Big jammy aroma with inky funk, brioche, new oak. Smells considerably more interesting than blueberries which I think are boring. Then the taste has all the fruit but none of the richness - it's dry and slightly tart with concentrated berries, oak, spices, maybe tannin at the end. Powerful flavours - but they have less room to move than they might have.

Sampled from the tap at Bitter Phew. A clear deep purple with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of nice tart blueberry with a dry Chardonnay barrel supporting. Flavor has really nice tart blueberries that combine well with the Chardonnay barrel.
