750ml (thx to the guy in Copenhagen for the trade!) @ Sales Force. Appearance: dark brown with dark beige head. Aroma: toasted barrel, sweet, molasses. Taste: along the same lines, quite thick, boozy, moderately sweet, a lot of burnt barrels. Overall: good one.

750mL bottle, pours black with a tiny head. Aroma brings out gentle bourbon barrels, dark sugars, and molasses. Flavour is very rich, with lots of bourbon character, molasses, dark sugars, and some vanillin. Very nice bourbon barrel character; everything is cohesive. Excellent.

750mL bottle. Pours black with no head. Aroma has bourbon barrels, brown sugar, dry wood. Flavour has bourbon, dark brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla. Fantastic bourbon barrel stout.

Dark brown. No head. Rich chocolate, with a good heaven hill character. A bit lighter on the palate than you'd expect from the aroma. Some molasses, rich dark chocolate, only a touch of fruit. Medium bitterness, which helps to bring out some of that dark malt complexity. Solid.

Ah so that's the hype. I see now. One of Moersleutels best yet. Thick and creamy, minimal boozyness and barrel aplenty. Pretty sweet, but Moersleutel so no surprises there. Chocolate, caramel, bourbon. Heaven Hill is such a great barrel for this.
