Cask at The Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a very slightly hazy golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is malt, yeast, light citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, yeasty, malt, light citrus, woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with flat carbonation.

Cask at Bird in Hand, Stafford (not listed in RateBeer). Pours golden yellow with minimal white head, but good lacing. Malts and caramel in the nose, plus hints of floral hops. In the mouth it starts off with a creamy texture and sweet malt flavours, with traces of tropical fruits. Later on this becomes somewhat bitter with sharp citrus to the fore. Finish is bitter but with some caramel sweetness. A drinkable session beer.

22/1/2021. Bottle bought direct from the brewery, part of a mixed selection case they advertised on fb. Pours clear pale gold with a lasting white head. Aroma of citrus, light tropical fruits, flowers, grass. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness, with a light citric tart edge. Moderate body, average carbonation. A light bitter finish with sweet buttered caramel. Quite drinkable, not 'best in box'.

500ml bottle as part of a delivery from the brewery. Light yellow gold, mostly clear, with a large loose white head. Aroma of hay, lemon drops, TCP, a touch of buttered toast. Crisp bittersweet taste with astringent hops. Bright lemony hop finish with more astringency. Heavily carbonated. Enjoyable.
