A pale gold beer with glorious bitter flavours and a fragrant hoppy aroma.
An ale to celebrate everything great about the English pub. Hops: Fuggles, Goldings. Malts: English barley malt

Cask at the Angel, Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire, on the latest leg of the Thames Tipple 11-04-09 Pours more light amber than gold, although in the poor light of the pub it could have appeared darker, thin white bubly head. Bit tangy with some lasting bitterness, also a bit fruity and with some hops on the nose. Not the best from Brakspear I’m afraid. A6 A3 F5 P3 Ov10 2.7
