473mL can, pours an opaque peachy orange with a medium white head. Nose is full of allium, with a bit of citrus, earthy notes, and some bready notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with onion and garlic, some citrusy hops, lots of earthy, and bready malt. There's a bit of jucicy fruitiness in there, but it's dominated by the garlicy, oniony hop character. The chalkiness isn't too bad and there is a decent beer somewhere in there, but this isn't well-refined.

Can. Dull, looks pretty bad, really. Smells all right, I suppose, though a bit much on the allium and grassiness. On the palate, feels light for its size, a bit of grassiness, vague bitterness, weak malts. Subpar relative to other DIPAs on the market, and this is a poor effort for Beere. Big disappointment for me.

2021-02-19, can from The Gull, North Vancouver, 8-3-8-4-16=39
The aroma is moderately dank. The mouthfeel is moderately sweet, there is a lot of hop juice, fruity, tropical, and the bitterness is not too low; a bit of alcohol kick, and traces of chalk in the finish. Very good.

Murky blond colour. The aroma is fruity and dank. The mouthfeel is a bit chalky, lightly sweet but lean for this gravity; the hops are fruity, tropical but eventually there is some astringency. Lots of hops, seems a bit green.
