Aus der Dose (bbe 07.2022) im 2021-03 getrunken. Dieses rotbraune Dubbel überrascht statt mit einem Apfel-Zimt Aroma mit einem Bananen-Sesam Aroma. Im Aroma wirkt der Körper leider recht dünn, aber dfür ist es sehr süffig.

0.44 l can from the brewery's web shop, best before July 2022. Almost clear, ruby with a thin, foamy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently fruity, a bit yeasty-spicy aroma of raisins, plums, caramel, candy sugar, light cinnamon, maybe a touch of apple. Quite sweet, malty, minimally bitter, gently fruity taste of caramel, raisins, plums, a touch of cinnamon and traces of apple, followed by a short, slightly bitter, minimally yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. One of the very few Dubbels from a German brewer comes with a pastry twist and delivers. Nothing really spectacular but quite harmonious even if the 'Apfelstrudel' theme is hardly noticeable. Tasty!

44cl can. A clear dark amber beer with a white lacing. Aroma of dried fruits, dark reddish malt, caramel, apples. Taste of dark roasted malt, caramel, riped fruits, apples.

Herber, moderat süßer Beginn, in dem die belgische Hefe gut durchscheint. Dunkle Karamellnoten, hohe Süffigkeit, feine Süße. Spritzig, mittellanger Abgang. Gut. 10/11/12/11/11/11
