Analog. Hopfen Pale Ale, 5 %, gebraut & abgefüllt bei Brewdog Berlin von Analog. Leipzig - Berlin für: Schneeeule Berlin, 44-cl-Dose von Hopfen & Malz im Wedding. Trotz des abweichenden Namens wohl das gleiche Bier. - Helles Goldbraun, trüb; unmäßiger grobporiger Schaum. - In der Nase üppige exotisch-zitrusfruchtige Hopfung, Marakuja, Nadelwald. - Antrunk satt zitrusfruchtig mit viel knackig bitterer Grapefruit, ein wenig Ananas und Pfeffer, schön trocken, leicht harzig. Feine Restsüße mit Anklängen an Karamel und Honig. Durchschnittlich rezent. Im Abgang kräftige zitrusfruchtige Hopfenbittere. - Schönes, knackig exotisch gehopftes und doch süffiges Pale Ale. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity hops, lime, spicy hops, pale malt, pine, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20210505]

440ml can [5.0% abv]. Cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with average to huge, firm, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grassy, citrusy and slightly tropical fruity, hoppy aroma, sweet-ish, pale malty background, notes of lemon, lemon drops, pineapple, some mandarine, melon, a touch of mango, whiffs of pink grapefruit; slight jelly bear character in parts. Taste is sweet-ish, pale malty, citrusy and tropical fruity hoppy, slightly grassy and mineral, chalky, hints of lemon, mandarine, pineapple, melon, a touch of pink grapefruit, some chalky bitterness, minimal jelly bear character once in a while; chalky, mineral finish. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, slightly prickly carbonation. Well hopped, highly drinkable; exhibits the old, actually Session IPA-typical weakness of non-enduring fruitiness and ending up rather chalky - pretty good overall.
