Pours dairly clear, lagrger white head. Scent is full, fine yeastyness, creamy maltynes. Typical czech lager. Taste is fine bitterness, fairly creamy malts. Very elegant, lovely balance. Nothing too exceptionnal, but like any good czech lager, this is just straight up to enjoy and drink, rather than pick appart.

On tap at Hostomice, pours a clear bright golden with a medium white head. Aroma brings out straw, lightly sweet biscuity malt and restrained grassy hops. Flavour is dry, with crisp biscuity malt, straw, dry grains, and grassy hops. Crisp, biscuity and dry, but as hoppy as 12. Good.

Poured from the tap. Clear-ish gold with small white head. Clean, very mild bread malt, just a touch of grass hops. At 3.5%, this is very good.

Draught (Nalevarna, Prague) - Golden with a slight haze and a white head. Bready and grassy aroma with a faint whiff of sulphur. The taste is relatively clean but with some faint earthy hints and notes of hay, citrus and lemon. Slightly sweet but also dry at the same time.

Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours ever so slightly hazy golden - amber with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is rich and bready, cereal, earthy, woody, dried florals, rivita and hay. The taste is crisp, dry, firm bitterness which lingers, quite floral, grassy, woody, earthy, slightly soapy, twist of citrus, bready and biscuity malt base. Finish is lingering bitter floral action. Surprised this is only 3.5% as it is pretty punchy and flavourful.
