Pours clear, warmingly dark amber. Medium small, creamy and stable white head. Scent is mildly hoppy, rich caramelly, malty base. Thick impression. Taste is farily bitter. Creamy, malty. More to the bitter BW side, but not aggressivly so. Still has a nice amount of sweetness. Medium mild in it's raisins / prunes fruityness. More like a (nice) strong ale than a BW to me.
