On our visits to Denmark, we have really enjoyed Gamma Brewing’s sessionable and fruity pales, so when Pete dropped us a line for a collab, we threw open the shutters.

It’s our June collaboration, and we kept June Juicy with a capital J. We went with some of our favourite new hops, Bru-1 & Idaho 7, along with London Fog, our preferred yeast for New England styles. The result takes our usual hazy pales and turns the volume up. Play it loud.

The label art, designed by Sienna, is inspired by The Memphis group. Keeping it simple and a little bit fun all at the same time - we contain multitudes!

Can from Cotteridge Wines and shared in Bangkok. Poured a milky straw colour with a lasting thin white head. The aroma is grainy malt, buttery yeast, mango, tropical citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a light, crisp, mineral, weedy, juicy citrus fruits, light grapefruit, dry, light floral hop bitter palate and a touch of hop burn in the finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Can. Hazy yellowish gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Malts are smooth and bring a light creamy sweetness. Idaho 7 and Bru 1 sounds like a marriage made in heaven. A light skunky tone threw me off a little but then there is that great fruity melange you would expect from these hops, an undertone of Skittles and even a little Opal Fruits. Light spice and pine. Citrus and tropical fruits. The spice gets stronger on the finish, not quite a hop burn but something of a hop singe. The spice lingers on. Yeah, lived up to my expectations.

440ml can. Murky opaque pale yellow with a big white head. Aroma of stone fruits, peach, passionfruit, grapefruit. Taste is intensely hoppy, sweet peaches, passionfruit, bitter grapefruit, pithy mandarin, surprisingly punchy hop bitterness for a NEIPA, got a bit much by the end. Medium body, soft and creamy. Superb NEIPA.
