Unclear brown with a white foamy head. Mild rum notes, oak wood, some bourbon, toffee, dates, roasted malt, some citrus. Malty fruity boozy sweetness, some dry bitterness. Medium to full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry malty woody somewhat boozy bittersweet finish. A very nice Bock, very soft and smooth, although packed with some bourbon wood notes, hardly boozy and very drinkable.

Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Almost clear mahogany colour, lively head. Woody nose with caramel and toast. Mid sweet with medium to full body and rounded mouthfeel. Woody with toasty licorice and caramel. Mid bitter finish.

500ml bottle. Clear, chestnut colour with ruby shimmer and average, dense, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, off-white head. Nutty, toasty and slightly choclately, dark malty as well as woody aroma, minimally tannic notes of oak, some Bourbon, hints of milk chocolate, a touch of nougat and toffee. Taste has very similar oak and Bourbon dominated flavours, rather tannic, almost a tad sourish oak.
Creamy texture, smooth and soft, silky palate, fine, soft, creamy carbonation.
Very nice mouthfeel, a bit imbalanced and too tannic - pretty decent.

Thanks Henrik! Coppery brown colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some rye, mild toasted tones with a bit of banana and chocolate too. Flavour is chocolate, rye, some sweet grainy tones with mild wood and some sweetish resin as well. Somewhat bitter herbal tones in the finish.

0.5l bottle, huge thanks Ryan or Fil for sharing! Clear red-amber body, off-white head. Malty aroma, bourbon notes, bit herbal, sweetish, but not overwhelmingly so. Sweetish lean malty, caramelly, bourbon notes, bitterish-herbal in the finish. Quite okay!

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear orangey brown with a small and creamy, beige head. Distinct nose of Bourbon and oak. Not much more than medium body. Dry caramel and slight roast with lads of Bourbon and a dry and lightlybitter finish. Outstandingly good. 160324

Bottle online from Raynville Superstore. Pours a murky chestnut colour with a thin off white head. Aromas of dry dark fruits, toffee, caramel and brown bread. Taste has more darks fruits and caramel, added notes of leather, wood, bourbon, lots of brown sugar and warming alcohol. Medium to full body, fairly low carbonation and sticky mouthfeel. Very unbalanced, too cloyingly sweet and alcohol clearly apparent. I’m not a great fan of this one.

Brown with a thin, frothy head. Vanilla, caramel and oak aroma. Taste is toasted bitter with a lot of caramel malt around the edge. Finishes much the same with a bit of bourbon and herbal spice. Full-bodied, rich, smooth. Mildly warming but the alcohol remains hidden. Good!
