Bottle 330ml @ gunnfryd. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, butterscotch and coffee. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long roasted, chocolate, coffee and caramel finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carboantion is soft.

Delt med EgilB på Lillehøgda. Svart. Høyt mokkafarget tett skum som daler sakte. Lett lakrisaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken mest kaffe. Innskalg av salt lakris. Balansert. Passe søt dessert.

330 ml bottle, as ELØ Roasted Delights Imperial Porter, at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 10%. Pitch black colour, moderate to small tan head. Moderate roasty aroma: roast malts and coffee, a hint of dark chocolate. Fairly smooth mouthfeel, with the slightest fruity acidity. In the flavour the espresso coffee comes through with a certain punch, also dry roasted malts, hints of dark bitter chocolate, prunes and unsweetened liquorice. Moderate bittering hops. Overall a well balanced imperial porter - or a stout, if you prefer that name.

Takk til sønn nr.2 for denne 0,33 flasken fra VP Bergen Storsenter: brunsvart med fint skum som varer. Herlige toner av nytrukket toppkvalitets espresso, 70%-sjokolader og hint av lakris. Supersmud, cremet munnfølelse. Perfekt for å holde varmen denne kalde aprilkvelden, og mersmaken varte nesten helt til kveldsmørket senket seg. Indeed an utter delight.

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Low tan-coloured head leaving scattered lacing behind. Pitch black in the glass. Well roasted malty aromas, black chocolate, and a peaty scent to it. Roasted black chocolate flavours supported by dark bread and coffee beans. Heavy roasted, bitter ending. Well bodied. Decent sipper on a Sunday afternoon. A little too much of roasted malts, maybe.
