Bottle from Wine Reserve, Cobham. My aunt in Estonia used to piss off her kids by calling biscuits 'bisquits' so I presume the use of bisquits on the bottle is a joke. Aroma is fruity with sour berries and biscuit dough. There also a smoke in there. Opaque amber. Microbubbled foamy white head. Flavour is actually quite boozy and resinous. On the lower level there jammy fruit. On the top floor smokey grains. There's spiced sweetness, bitterness and, latterly, a malty finish. Medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. I like this... kinda heading towards Strong Ale territory.

On tap at Royal Gastropub, Oslo. Has a hazy bronze colour with an off-white head. Aroma of apricots, bread, grains and potatoes. Flavour of leather, bread and grains. Has a slick mouthfeel, medium body and a light to medium bitterness. A little strange and grainy. It can't be meant to be like this.
