Peated whiskey doesn’t really add to this but it’s still a delicious brew

650ml bottle. Heavy, loads of peaty notes, malts, caramel, toffee, syrup and earthiness, some whisky and oak. Pretty nicely balanced.

Bottle thanks to Ian. Pours a dark amber with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong oak, smoke, peat, dark fruit, caramel. Slick body, strong peat and smoke, oak, boozy finish, very good.

On tap at Elizabeth Station on Darkest Day III. Pours a very dark brown. Aroma is some berries and pit. Similar taste, very sweet with pit notes. Damn, this is EXTREMELY sweet. Really too much sugars. A good seeper though for those who like islay whiskey and dessert imperial stouts.
