Dry hopped lager with hallertau blanc, huel melon and mandarin bavaria. These modern german hops contribute delicate melon, white grape and clementine notes to this clean little lager without overpowering its crisp and clean nature.

At brettfest. Aroma of dry yeast, melon, white grape and malt. Taste has creamy melon, white grape, citrus, bready malt and pineapple. Quite nice.

Draught at Worden Hall, 7/6/17.
Lightly hazy, pale, white golden with a rosy-peach tint and a small, white head showing moderate retention.
Plethora of citrus in the nose is backed by light whitebread and a touch of cereal. Meyer lemon, tangerine skin, even light grapefruit all seems like it might be just a bit too big for the beer...but it’s got some depth to it, at least, unlike most of the mandarina beers I’ve had, which show rather bland, monotonous lemon and pepper with very little actual aroma or flavor. Otherwise, it’s clean and shows no resin. But like Trillium’s "lagers", this one makes you wonder a bit why they even bother making a lager...
Soft, slick at times texture shows moderately engaging carbonation and high attenuation. Could malty feel to it, with a strong dryness, bits of cereal and biscuit and a clean finish highlighted by tons of lemon and tangerine. I get that they went with "lighter" hops to allow some of the gentler, lighter characteristics of the lager to show through, but it really doesn’t much. Still just a bit too hoppy, though what’s there is pretty pleasant, to its credit. Could use a bit tighter carbonation, as well.

Sampled at Ocelot’s 2nd anniversary party, pours a hazy yellow with some soapy, white head. Nose has lemon, straw, white grape, peanut skin. Flavor is more peanut skins, lime, lemon, metal. Watery finish.
