16oz can from the Lidl Christmas beer pack. Poured a hazy golden color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was grain, wheat, some banana and a touch of yeast to it too. Crisp, with some floral notes. Perfectly fine German beer.

Can at home picked up from Costco advent calendar. A hazed mid gold coloured pour with a lasting loose white froth. Aroma is decent doughy wheat, spicy clove phenols, banana bread,. Nice. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, gooey banana bread, light tang, spicy clove, little muddled. Palate is semi sweet, doughy, light tang, spritzy carbonation.. Ok.

16oz can. Huell Melon softens it up a bit and adds a melon tone which is sort of interesting for the style. Very pleasant creamy yeast tone that American brewers can't seem to nail. Clove esters, moderate banana. OK.

Day 16 of the Costco Advent Calendar. It pours cloudy orangey - gold with a decent frothy white cap. The aroma is hearty bready malt, hay, straw, grain, tangy marmalade, melon and a touch of green banana. The taste is fairly crisp, dry initially, light bitterness, green banana, touch of banana split, melon, touch of warming spice, straw, grass and wheat crackers with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Avoids being too sweet, like many hefe-dubs. Moreish.

Can 16 from the 2021 CostCo Advent pack. Pours hazy/cloudy gold with a nice creamy white head. Aroma of clove and banana. Med body. Flavor is clove and banana, not extreme, with discernible wheat. Flavors are moderate, but strong enough to do the job. Somewhat earthy towards the finish.

Can, Aldi/ Kalea pack. Moderately cloudy orange with a fluffy cm of white head. Aroma of banana, sticky buns, mixed citrus and spices. Creamy texture. Fruity and breadily sweet w banana and citrus but no real wheaty twang before a spicy and weedy finish that's noticably bitter but not out of place. Eh, maybe some twang there. Unusual - not far off a weizenbock - and pretty good.
