0,1l from bottle at Tag der offenen Flaschen, Vienna. Amber cloudy color, small white head. Smells musty, earthy, wood, ripe fruits, lights grape notes, light caramel, resin, nice to very nice smell. Full body, basically no carbonation, slick mouthfeel. Tastes earthy, spices, bit musty, grassy, doughy, caramel, peppery, resin, wood, bit boozy, lightly warming. Finishes lightly sweet and light to medium bitter with notes of resin, wood and light boozy notes. Very nice one, a bit boozy and almost a bit harsh on the tongue from the resiny notes, but overall very good one 8, 4, 7, 3, 15

750 ml bottle from Stiegl webshop, bb 10/2022.
Amber, hazy body, with a big, fluffy, lacing, light yellow head.
Aroma of white wine, barrel, grapes, grapefruit, some vanilla, subtle tropical fruits.
Tastes quite similar, while with more diversity, also lots of wine barrel notes, some leather, with lemon zest and biscuit.
Medium. a bit creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes medium bitter, zesty, piney, moderate wooden, vinous, a bit sweet, with grapes and citrus.

Very nice. Lots of white wine barrel, which is well integrated though and goes well with the zesty hops. The hops take over in the finish, leading to a nice piney bite. Overall not my favourite one from the series maybe, while still another really interesting one.
