Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from the brewery taproom. Pours clear yellow with a tight, creamy white head. Gorgeous beer, lightly sweet, a little funky and pissy, nips of pale biscuit, straw, kiwi, grapefruit, melon, pine needles. Light bodied with massaging carbonation. Clean, balanced finish. Superb.

Bottle direct from the brewery. It pours clear straw yellow with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is green, grassy, herbal, straw, cracker, rich tea biscuit and floury white bread. The taste is super crispy, dry, snappy, crunchy, pleasing bitterness which lingers throughout, green, grassy, leafy, herbal, lemon verbena, light and airy malts, rich tea biscuit, soft floury white bread, cracker and a twist of white pepper with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Super crispy and crushable. Flavourful for the style.

13--11-20 // bottle. Drier and crisper than the CW NZ Pils before but also lovely. More bitterness. The hop is more fruit aroma forward. Lovely.

Bottle at home, 30th October 2020. Pours clear golden and big head. Aroma is straw and hay. Taste is bitter, floral, citrus and earthy, lots of depth. I wasn’t too sure to start with, but it’s grown on me, great bitter grassy linger in the finish
