Our Nitro Porter is the perfect festive drink. Brewed to be a light Porter, the added lactose gives the body needed to complement deep chocolate flavour and cinnamon undertones, though it has enough bitterness to balance everything out. We then packaged it into Nitro cans, so you’ll get a beautiful, thick cascading foam with all the richness you want and need for a holiday beer, but at 4.7% it will leave enough room in your belly for Christmas dinner.

BTW if you find it on tap it’s the carbonated version. So you can try both and see what you like better!

Panda at home, thanks to Graham Grumbo, 17/09/23. Light black with a good sized lasting khaki head. Nose is mellow roast, dark fruit rinds, toffee, dates, light spice. Taste comprises cacao nibs, cinnamon, mellow roast, fruit cake mix. Medium bodied, smooth carbonation, semi drying close. Not bad.

Can. Pours cloudy very dark brown with creamy light tan head. Herbal aroma with notes of yeast and fruit. Mild, bitter flavour of roast, with fruity notes and touches of cinnamon and cloves. Spicy and estery aftertaste with malty touches. Low carbonation. Reasonable.

Can 50cl - although label claims 44cl. Pours a clear, mahogany brown with a reddish hue and a beige head. Cinamon cookies in the nose. Medium body, thinnish, initially dry with cinamon notes and small spikes of sweet probably from the lactose. Subdued bitterness. Odd unintegrated beer with the nitrogen somewhat lost on me. 150421
