Birra artigianale rifermentata in bottiglia non filtrata e non pastorizzata caratterizzata dall’aggiunta di mosto d’uva di Nerello Mascalese. Possiede note di dolciumi, frutta candita, miele, caramello e uva sultanina. Abbinamento ideale con dolci, cassata e cannolo siciliano su tutti. Ottima con arrosti di carne e pesce che trovano perfetto equilibrio tra le note di caramello della birra e quelle tostate del piatto. Abbinabile con formaggi stagionati ed erborinati in particolare.

37,5cl Fles bij Re di Bastoni, Taormina. Donkerbruine kleur, beige kraag. Gedroogd donker fruit, vijgen, bramen, hint van druiven, chocolademout, prima Belgische Dubbel maar van de beloofde druivenmost is bijzonder weinig terug te vinden. Medium body, romig, glad. Smakelijk, maar voor wat het is zwaar overprijsd (€10).

Bottle in Taormina, 3rd June 19. Pours a dark red brown. Aroma of molasses, dark fruit, vineous. Taste is sweet, dark fruit, like a bock. Good.

This is nice and well balanced. A lot of character for 6.6%. Not too sweet... Dried fruit, malts and yeasty. Very nice.

Bottle 0.75l from local shop in Riposto. A bit cloudy, red colored. AROMA- honey, red berries, red wine. FLAVOR- semi-sweet, slightly sour, red wine, red berries, cherries. Fuller bodied, well attenuated.
