YG 210921. Golden-orange color with some white bubbles. Flavor is dry, apples, yeast, funk, grass, oak, toffee, caramel. Decent cider.

Bottle, 75cl wine corked. 7% ABV. It's an unclear one, orange in color, with a few diminishing white bubbles on top. Quite funky, vinegarish aroma, leather, barnyard, oak, nuts, grass and a good dash of ripe apple. It's medium bodied, tart, faintly warming and with a low carbonation level. Vinegar, generic fruityness, funk, grass and a good dash of ripe apples in the flavor. Some oaked, nutty flavors and a hint of toffee too. Long sour, tart fruity finish with a good dash of vinegar. Too vinegar-ish this one, but there's lots of other nice and interesting things going on. 210921

Bottle thanks to Brian. Pours a hazy yellow with small white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is strong pear, apple, floral, lemon zest. Thin body, similar flavors to nose, light tartness, very good.

Oppsummeringsmøte med oppdatering av lagerstatus om bord på Fridtjofen, skibsreder, skogsmatros og undertegnede er fortsatt høyt motiverte for tomflaskeproduksjon. Etter superbe produkter fra Hardanger er vi nå spent på om denne er i samme liga. Det er den på ingen måte, den har en kunstig, sursyrlig aroma og smak. Hipsterfaktoren er sikkert skyhøy, men ærlig talt - dette er ikke rare greiene. Hva i all verden har lønnesirup i en cider å gjøre (kanskje bortsett fra å høyne fortjenesten)? Hint av jordkjeller og lappesaker for sykkel. Shame on you, Lervig!

Bottle shared with Holmen1 and JFE on board Fridtjofen 08.09.20. Muddy straw colour. No head. Univiting aroma and taste of sour tropical fruits, wild yeast, solvents and rubber. For the hipsters.

Bottle. Hazy pale golden color with white head. Aroma is light maple, green apples, earthy, leather. Taste is very light maple, green apples, earthy, leather, funk. Natural fizz. Good!

750 ml green corked but not caged bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6%. Pale yellow and hazy colour, pours with a very moderate sparkle. Very nice aroma of cider apples and woodwork. A very slight carbonation in the mouth. Dry flavour, cider apples, hints of dry white wine and crisp white grapes, some wood and hints of tannins.
