Can from, I think, low cost beer online shop, given the best before is 17/11/2021. Pours dark brown with a short-lived thin tan head. Aromas of chocolate, caramel, hazelnut, pastry. Surprised there's no lactose in this, although one of the ingredients is biscuits, it says it's vegan friendly. Rich chocolatey taste. Biscuits for sure. Oaty and sweet.

Black, fine tan head. Enormous sweet smell, tons of caramel, biscuits, sweet chocolate. Fair body, bit boozy, not super thick. Taste isn't as super sweet as the smell, fairly bitter actually. Still plenty of caramel and loads of biscuit. Slight roast. Yum

Can. Opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly dark tan head. Palate is smooth and a little dry, decent fine carbonation. The dark malts bring a slightly tangy and thin dark chocolate. A good biscuity vibe here and yes it's caramelly biscuit. I wish I could recall the brand of biscuit this reminds me of. A slightly thin finish brings some bitterish chocolate and a little spice. Fruity bitterish dark chocolate linger. Tidy if simple pastry, but lacking a little bit of luxury in the palate department. I had very high hopes for this brewery, but for me they have lost something since those heady young days. I remain hopeful they get that vibe back.
