Keg at Mother Arch V2, 14/02/20. Black with a good sized tan head. Nose is roast malts, dried red berries, light charr, toffee, cocoa nibs, mellow hop back notes, pine needle. Taste comprises roast malts, chocolate, light pine, charr, earthy, red berries, fruit slice, raisins. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with earthy hop bitterness. Solid hoppy porter ... you know you wanna be a CDA!

Keg at the brewery taproom bermondsey. A opaque black brown coloured pour with a lasting loose tang head. Aroma is big piney hop, woody roast, cocoa, hint of smoke. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rich roast, coffee, barlz woody roast, sticky pine sap,. Big and bold. Palate is semi sweet, big sticky hop resin, lush, moderate fine carbonation. Really good.

330ml bottle. Fresh, quite hoppy and roasty with loads of grass, pine, hints of coffee, fruits, chocolate and dry bitterness. Quite well balanced and tasty hoppy porter / black IPA, just the way I like them

Sourced at the Kernel Taproom - Bermondsey. Pours black-brown with a foamy, beige head. In a word, stupendous. Great balance, some rich dark chocolate, ample roast, earth, some orange citrus notes. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with further sturdy roasted malts, bittersweet cocoa, well toasted pine. Outstanding.
