Handpull cask at the Amber Rooms (JDW), Loughborough. Brownish gold with a small ring of white head. Lots of lacing. Spicy rye smell with touches of clove and orange peel. Sweet taste with some bitter kickback near the finish. Watery body. Not a bad rye beer if a bit safe.

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. An amber pour with a loose white head; caramel aroma; dry herbal taste with a malty body and some caramel; pleasant herbal bitterness; and a sweet biscuity malt finish. A decent golden ale, a nice change from the citrusy type of summer ales.
