A naturally brilliant blend of malt and hop characters. Solid gold colour, remarkably aromatic. smooth body with hints of fresh citrus. Dry delicate hop flower finish. A drink that is both distinctive and long on refreshment.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up for reduced price at Waitrose. Pours perfectly clear copper with a foamy, white head. Pretty basic stuff, has some leafy hops, lightly toasted grains, hints of orange peel. Light bodied with average carbonation. Faint grassy bitterness in the finish, more grainy malts, suggestions of citrus. Not great but not the worst, either.

On tap at The Kenilworth, Edinburgh. Comes with a golden color and a small white head. Nose is a little simple: some malts, some yeast, some citric aromas, some herbal aromas. Nothing overhanging. Taste follows the nose.
