Brewed with pale and wheat malt to create a light bodied spring ale, this refreshing characteristic is enhanced by the addition of coriander, orange peel and the “secret ingredient” liquorice to complement the subtle hop flavour.

Bottle from Sainsburys beer challenge thing. Amber coloured. Very clear. White frothy head. Aroma malt, a bit stinky. Could only smell the orange and liquorice after I read it on the bottle. Taste is quite plain, bit of toffee and can taste a bit of liquorice. Ok, but very average. Doesn't seem at all like a wit bier.

Brown 500ml bottle: Sep 2011. Poured into two half pint UK sleeves: clear golden colour, lager like in all ways (no cloudiness or haze), including a white head that didn’t stay. The beer had something about it, not very ’Witbier’ maybe but certainly not as lager like as it looked. It had a different feel, some butterscotch and all spice it there somewhere. Fairly thin in the body depth, no matter what style it sits in. I however quiet liked the tasting.

On tap at The Philarmonic in Liverpool, England. Golden colour with a small white head. Floral hoppy nose and light fruity. Strange brew if they mean it is a witbier. But ok, it is really good. Frutiy and cictic hoppy flavour, with some caramel in the background.

Orange, peach colour. Aromatic, perfumey orange aroma. Flavour is quite sweet from the orange but lacks a bit of depth. Needs a bit more spice and sharpness.
