Brewed with pale and wheat malt to create a light bodied spring ale, this refreshing characteristic is enhanced by the addition of coriander, orange peel and the “secret ingredient” liquorice to complement the subtle hop flavour.

On tap at The Philarmonic in Liverpool, England. Golden colour with a small white head. Floral hoppy nose and light fruity. Strange brew if they mean it is a witbier. But ok, it is really good. Frutiy and cictic hoppy flavour, with some caramel in the background.

Small creamy offwhite head. Slightly hazy bright yellow body. Lovely floral fruity aroma with spicy caramel notes. Dry-sweetish spicy banana caramel taste with vanilla and wood notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish spicy wooden straw aftertaste with musty herbal perfumy notes. Very nice, and highly drinkable. (0.25l cask, The Bridge House, Barnes, London.)

Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW. Clear, golden pour with a modest foam head. Orange and tangerine on the nose, with subtle yeast. Lightly sweet with some zippy citrus, light bread, hints of spices. Almost medium in body with soft carbonation. Some fruit and pseudo-yeast in the finish. Just slightly witty.
