Draft @ the brewery. Pours a slightly hazy yellow golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity sour tart woody ginger aroma. Fruity sour tart spicy woody ginger flavor. Has a fruity sour tart woody spicy ginger finish.

Tap at the brewery. Pours clear golden. Aroma is oak barrel and ginger indeed. Body is medium, strongly pinching sour, rather tart, with a ginger spice fighting its way and getting on par with the dry sour mouthfeel. Palate is lots of ginger with the spice slowly giving in to more sourness. Good.

From tap at the brewery. Light unclear golden color with no head. Malty and yeasty aroma, funky, spicy, ginger, wood. Acidic, acetic taste. Light to medium, thin body with soft to flat carbonation.

Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours clear gold with a frothy, off-white head. Definitely some ginger in the nose, with a bit of citrus fruit as well. Light sweet flavour with strong acidity, more ginger notes, rindy citrus, lime, lemon peel. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sharply acidic in the finish, with more citrusy tartness, ginger. Novel stuff with the ginger aspect. Good.

Keg at the brewery, 29/01/16. Clear golden orange with a decent off White head. Nose is root ginger, spice, bitter citric peel, sharp lemon, light funk. Taste comprises zingy lemon, damp straw, light herbal grains, ginger evident but less prominent than aroma. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a light acidic whisper. Decent enough for a beer carrying ginger.

750ml bottle and on tap at the rare barrel. pours out golden topped with a few bubbles. Nose is big ginger right up front oak barrel and plenty tartness. taste is more of the heavy ginger plenty tart sour notes and some wood.

Draught at Rare Barrel. Clear deep golden liquid with small white head. Aroma of lemon, ginger, oak, light coconut and red apple skin. Taste is dry and medium to high sour with notes of ginger, lemon, lime and light grain. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Nice!

Draft at the rare barrel. Light golden yellow coloured pour with a small white head. Aroma is candied ginger. Sweet. Base grains, funk and sour. Flavour is composed of tangy spritzy spicy ginger, sour lemon, palate is tart and zesty ginger, highish carbonation, candied ginger. Good.
