The Bianca series is where we fully explore the tart flavour spectrum and what a lactose infused sour beer can be. In the blackberry rendition, we have worked together with our beloved friend Chad Yakobson at Crooked Stave, an actual doctor of brett, to find just the right tart, funky and earthy flavor profile to balance the blackberries.

Lys brunorange lett tåkete med hvitt skum. Lukter bæreddik, solbær og trevirke. Fruktig og sur. Smaker sure solbær, eddik og noe fat. Kort.

Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours a cloudy pink orange with small off white head. The aroma is funk, oak, blackberry, floral. Slick body, jammy blackberry, oak, light funk, nice tartness, enjoyed this.

Dark amber, white head that rapidly disappears. Plenty carbonation. Smells sweet, fruity, some tartness, brett and oak. High carbonation, light mouthfeel. Taste is sour, with some sweetness in the end. Loads of blackberries, wood, some bitter. Very nice!

Hazy dark pink colour with no head. Aroma and flavour have farmy type of shitty funk that reminds me of Hanssens. Quite sour. Flavours of raspberry and rosehip.

375ml bottle, no dating.

Pours a hazy dark red, a finger of slightly pinkish foam, head retention excellent.

Blackberry aromas are inviting. Brett is there, has an apple cider like tartness on top of the blackberries.

Blackberries bring a tasty tartness, some apple cider like vinegar, vinous, tannin like, Brett is mild but ever present. Very dry finish.

Medium bodied with very lively carbonation.

Truly delicious and I am enjoying every sip. A hit with my palate.
