One of the highlights of Japanese cuisine is the tea. And one of the most delicate and flavorful Asian teas is made using the jasmine petals, called Matsurika in Japan. We added these petals to the recipe of a Pilsen, a soft and delicate beer, bringing floral notes to the aroma and palate.

From the can. Floral meadow aromas. Medium bodied with sweet, dusty meadow and tea front to back. Medium length dry meadow finish.

Pours hazy pale gold with a white head. Grassy aroma. Taste is light malt, floral notes, tea.

16 oz can at John's house, thanks bud, 4/6/24. Nicely clean and floral. Tea, grass, citrus. Solid.

Can. A- Grains, light floral. A- Golden color, clear liquid, white head. T- Grains, light jasmine. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, crisp finish. O- A Japanese women owned brewery in Brazil. That's a new one for me. Overall a solid pils. I think the jasmine could be played up a bit more, it was very faint but naturally so. Not bad.

16oz can, clear gold wispy white head. Jasmine and malt and flower nose. So soft in the mouth, tea and honey and flowers and malt. Finishes pillowy and soft and pillowy. 7 4 7 4 13

16oz can pour at the April DC Ratebeer tasting. Poured a hazy yellow oclor with a medium sized white head. Aroma was light jasmine, very floral, light hops, with some earthy notes. Flavor was juicy, subtle. Pleasant floral and jasmine. A little odd.
