One of the highlights of Japanese cuisine is the tea. And one of the most delicate and flavorful Asian teas is made using the jasmine petals, called Matsurika in Japan. We added these petals to the recipe of a Pilsen, a soft and delicate beer, bringing floral notes to the aroma and palate.

Light jasmine florals. Still plenty of pilsener nobel hops. Golden pour with decent head. Light crisp finish. Decent. Can.

Not sure why they did this as a pils rather than a rice lager, but it works. Lovely floral notes, mildly tea-like. Super crisp

Can at the reduced numbers 'old skool Covid style' tasting, at the 'Mere thanks to Fergus, 08/04/22. Clear golden blonde with a decent white head. Nose is pale malts, grains, breads, straw, light floral notes. Taste comprises grains, jasmine tea, soft malts, breads, herb, lemon rind. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok pils.

Keg draught at BrewDog Leicester. Light gold and clear with a little film of white head. Grassy notes in the aroma, then a strong rush of jasmine. Sweet citrus peel, floral notes persist in the Taste. Some bitterness halfway through... more bitterness... a long bittersweet finish. Caramel and jasmine tea in the aftertaste. Some very nice flavours in here.

Keg at Brewdog Lothian Road. Pours crystal clear gold with a thin white head. Aromas of cooked green beans and faint malt. Taste is more of the same. Light bitter finish.
